OTV began as a creative outlet inspired by punk/ gothic fashion, the LGBTQ+ community, and horror movies that kept me up at night. I wanted to create a cult following around sustainable, dark alternative fashion. As all the best things I have done in life have been with the inspiration of other people, I didn’t want OTV to be centered around me. Over time, the brand has had various collaborators including other artists and my supporters. I additionally do a bi-monthly free promotion of underground creators to put my followers on to people who influence me.
As my business progressed, I realized that a common problem for my customer base was finding a dope statement piece that felt good on their skin. As a fan of comfort myself, I was passionate about taking on the challenge of creating fashionable pieces that prioritized comfortability and wearability. This is now what OTV has become- a wearable, comfortable, and sustainable dark alternative brand that revolves around a community of grunge, goth, punk, and raver people. I am so grateful to be part of OTV and connect with like-minded, creative, and insane supporters.
Love, Mia
