Founded in 2017 on Depop, My Damn Closet began as a passion project to declutter my wardrobe filled with thrifted gems from my high school days. Transitioning to in-person flea markets during college, I grew the brand and started carefully curating pieces, drawing inspiration from beloved 90s and 2000s films like ‘Friends,’ ‘Coyote Ugly,’ and ‘Sex and the City.’ Specializing in femme styles, I find joy in curating pieces that empower my customers to feel confident and fabulous, because seeing someone slay in my finds is truly the ultimate reward! I also love how my job helps combat the environmental impacts of fast fashion by saving thousands of clothing pieces that would’ve ended up in the landfill. My Damn Closet has allowed me to do something that I love everyday while supporting myself in school and I am forever grateful.
